Noran Assesses Industrial Cooling Solution for an Extremely Hot Coating Workshop

October 2026 | Middle East

Following the Middle East Coatings Show in Dubai, the Noran team visited a customer's coating production facility to assess the workshop's industrial cooling requirements and discuss a practical temperature-control solution.

The on-site visit provided a clear picture of the challenges faced by the customer in an extremely hot production environment.

Workshop Temperature Reaches 40°C in the Morning

At approximately 9:20 a.m., the workshop temperature had already reached 39°C.

During the peak summer season, the indoor temperature can exceed 50°C. When two ovens are operating simultaneously, the workshop temperature can rise to approximately 80°C.

Such extreme temperatures create significant challenges for the working environment and can also affect equipment operating conditions and production stability.

The customer's management team hopes to reduce the workshop temperature to below 30°C through an appropriate industrial cooling solution.

Developing a Cooling Solution Based on Actual Conditions

After assessing the workshop conditions, Noran recommended a complete industrial air cooling solution designed around the customer's actual production environment.

During the on-site discussion, the Noran team reviewed:

  • Workshop dimensions and layout
  • Major heat sources, including production ovens
  • Recommended locations for industrial air cooling units
  • Cooling air duct layout and air distribution
  • Required cooling capacity and equipment configuration
  • How to achieve more uniform cooling coverage throughout the workshop

Instead of simply selecting equipment based on workshop area, Noran considered the customer's actual heat sources, production conditions, and target temperature when discussing the solution.

Sharing Practical Industrial Cooling Experience

Noran also shared relevant application cases from industrial customers, demonstrating how industrial air cooling systems can be applied in high-temperature production environments.

The customer highly recognized the proposed cooling approach and showed strong interest in moving forward with the project.

The next step will be to develop a detailed equipment recommendation based on the actual workshop dimensions, layout, heat sources, and operating conditions, and then match the appropriate cooling capacity, number of units, and air distribution configuration.

Reliable Cooling for High-Temperature Industrial Environments

This factory visit reflects Noran's approach to industrial cooling: understand the actual process and working conditions first, then develop a suitable cooling solution.

Noran provides industrial cooling and temperature-control solutions for applications including workshop cooling, process cooling, powder cooling, equipment cooling, and production-line cooling.

For coating and powder coating manufacturers operating in hot climates, a properly designed cooling system can help create a more comfortable working environment while supporting stable equipment operation and consistent production performance.
